Why Psychometric Assessments?

Psychometric assessments are essential tools for understanding the mind and its workings, providing deep insights into a person’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. These assessments help in various critical areas:

Standardised and Reliable

They offer standardised measures, ensuring consistency and reliability in interpreting results.

Unbiased Evaluation

These assessments are designed to be unbiased, offering fair evaluation regardless of the individual’s background.

Accurate Reflection

They offer an accurate reflection of a person’s psyche, capturing their true nature and behavioural tendencies.

Predictive Power

Psychometric tests can predict future behaviour and performance, aiding in making informed decisions in educational and organisational settings.

Data-Driven Insights

Rooted in scientific research, they provide data-driven insights rather than relying on subjective judgement or gut feel.

Holistic Understanding

They provide a comprehensive understanding of an individual’s strengths, weaknesses, and potential areas for development.

About Swayam

Our Story

Swayam Analytics is dedicated to understanding human behaviour through psychometric assessments tailored to the Indian ethos and psyche. We have a wealth of knowledge, ensuring impactful solutions for understanding and enhancing human potential.

Our unique approach is grounded in the universal 5-Element theory from Indic traditions, offering a holistic understanding of individual behaviour. This methodology, which forms the backbone of our assessments, was pioneered by Dr. Shilpa Datar during her doctoral research at the University of Mysore. Dr. Datar’s work has garnered international recognition, with over 18 peer-reviewed publications validating the high reliability and validity of our tests.

Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that true understanding of behaviour requires a blend of traditional wisdom and modern science. We are committed to empowering individuals and organisations through our scientifically robust and culturally relevant assessments.

Swayam Analytics enhances understanding and development of people across various sectors with scientific, robust and culturally relevant assessments. We serve educational institutions, corporates and other industries like BPOs, GCCs, BFSI, and IT/Non-IT sectors.

The current global assessments often fail to address cultural nuances, leading to less accurate and relevant results. Swayam follows the Indic principle of people assessment that has demonstrated applications in multiple sectors and geographies for its relevance and applicability in solving these aspects of globally valid assessments.

What is the Indic system and why is it relevant?

India has a vast knowledge base starting with the Vedic corpus, the Upanishads, The Bhagavad Gita, Puranas, Yoga, and so on.

The rich knowledge, thoughts and disciplines enshrined in these classical literature are considered to be relevant across ages, times, and geographies.

This corpus of literature, philosophies, and disciplines that we learn today are known as the Indic Knowledge Systems (IKS).

The knowledge in the Indic scriptures are considered to have elemental truths about the world and its workings, as well as being relevant to people across ages for their universal truths and principles from which to understand the workings of nature.

Accessing this information and using it to understand people and behaviour are much more relevant for the accuracy and insights they provide us with.

How does it compare and contrast with the existing psychometric assessments?

Western Assessments

It is based on various psychological theories, leading to a fragmented understanding of behaviour and personality.

Follows the mind-body separation, limiting holistic insights.

Numerous methods and interpretations can create inconsistency in results.

Indic theory based Assessments

Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean.

Integrates body, mind, and spirit, offering a more complete and accurate understanding of a person's inner workings.

Integrating multiple thoughts into one holistic theory which ensures consistent and reliable results across different life stages.

What is the methodology we have adopted?

At Swayam we have adopted the universally accepted, 5-Element theory based on the Indic system and philosophy of understanding people based on the mind-body-spirit complex.

Hence, we assess people on their physiological, psychological and ethical aspects of personality to provide accurate and insightful interpretations of their behaviour and personality. This makes us unique, and unlike any other psychometric test available globally.

To be the go-to psychometric assessment provider in India for educational institutes and corporates to enable them to understand human behaviour and personality in all their requirements.

Empowering students to make the right career decisions and corporates make the right people decisions with confidence.

Creating a world where individual personalities are correctly and holistically underwood, assessed and supported.
